My main concern is actually how long we will really be in this house and would building something like that be worth taking out a line of credit on the house and financing the deal? I'm guessing we would need to be here at least 3 more years.
The idea excites me. Dave can have his own private space, I could move my office into his bright, sunshine current office and we could have the guest room stay the same but with a writing space for Dave in the house. That leaves the entire upstairs as sleeping space for baby and us. The guest bedroom can also function as a second play area.
Anyway, we're having a contractor come out hopefully this week and give an estimate. This feels like a huge deal.
